Didja Notice?

On page 1, panel 4, we see that Mary and Sloane have their ammo magazines taped together jungle style for quick reloading.

Although we never see Sarah Connors' face fully in this issue, notice that Mary's face is drawn a lot like that of actress Linda Hamilton who played Sarah in The Terminator and Judgment Day! Even down to the blue eyes!

The law enforcement officer on page 13, panel 4 has a shoulder patch that says Odessa Highway Patrol. This doesn't really make sense since Highway Patrol is run by each state in the U.S., not cities or counties. It should read Texas Highway Patrol.

At the end of this issue, Sarah Connor gives birth to a girl instead of a boy and the last remaining Terminator in the time period vanishes instantly, undoing even the deaths it had caused and wiping the memories of Mary and Sloane so that they don't even know where they are or what they are doing there! Sarah seems to still remember the past, as she asks for her baby boy, not yet having been told her newborn child is a girl. The narrative at the end briefly explains that the girl is Jane Connor, who will go on to lead her human resistance troops to victory a little sooner than had occurred in the previous timeline, causing Skynet to be defeated before it had a chance to send any Terminators back in time. This would seem to end the current thread of the Terminator chronology/timeline.

Unanswered Questions

Given this is the first appearance of Sarah Connor since The Terminator, what happened to Pugsley, Jr.? Is he being watched by one of Sarah's survivalist friends in Mexico? (Recall that the novelization of The Terminator revealed that Sarah's German Shepherd dog from the end of the movie was named after the pet iguana called Pugsley seen early in the film.)
