On page 3, General Crowe tells his
assembled Resistance fighters that they've recently acquired
an EMP generator with a range ten times greater than
anything they've had before. EMP stands for "electromagnetic
pulse", which can be used to damage or destroy most types of
unshielded electronic devices.
