This story takes place in 2041, 10 years after the events of
the regular NOW Comics Terminator comic book
series.
Didja Notice?
The cover of this issue depicts a robotic Terminator hand
attepting to choke John Connor. Notice that John's face
looks a lot like a male version of Sarah Connor (actress
Linda Hamilton)!

On page 3, the word balloons for John and Patch in panel 1
are floating way up at the top of the panel, making it
confusing to figure out who is speaking!
On page 3, Patch says, "Sí, amigo." This is Spanish
for "Yes, friend."
Page 3 reveals that Patch knew John's mother, Sarah.
On page 5, Sasha says, "Madre Dios!" This is
Spanish for "Mother God!" The usual phrase used in Spanish,
however, would be "Madre de Dios", "Mother of God"
(a reference to the Virgin Mary).
On page 8, Sue refers to Thunder Mountain as Mt. Thunder
instead.
On page 9, Tim comes up with an idea to steal one of the
Terminators' Mark-108 Plasma Cannons to use against Skynet's
generator plant. This is the only mention of this weapon
model in the Terminator universe thus far.
The Resistance manages to kill the power to Skynet's bunker
and CPU, ending Skynet's threat and bringing down the HKs
and stilling the Terminators, giving humanity a new hope for
tomorrow. But in the final panel of the story, the red eyes
of one of the stilled Terminators begins to shine again,
possibly suggesting it (and others) are now entering
autonomous mode to continue the fight.
