Website hosting fees are becoming more expensive every year. Hosting fees used to be reasonable, but the market has changed to where the first year is fine, but after that fees start to soar, and changing hosts frequently is a tedious and time-consuming process. And, unfortunately, the site ads aren't covering it, they're only worth fractions of a cent in most cases. If you can, please consider a small donation to PopApostle with the PayPal button below...any amount is appreciated. Thank you!

If donations are strong enough, I will eliminate the site ads.

"I'd buy that for a dollar!"

Didja Notice?

The story takes place in Stalback, Poland. This is a small village (Stabławki) in northeast Poland.

Two Russian POWs (prisoners of war) escape from Stalag I-A. This was an actual German prisoner-of-war camp during World War II, located in Stalback.

The Terminator's target turns out to be Masha Alekseev in the POW camp. Alekseev was previously seen (in the future) in "Whiskey Dark".

On page 11, Benedict says, "Fantastisch." This is German for "Fantastic."

This story seems to indicate the origin of the T-800 CPU seen in "Whiskey Dark". The German officer who finds the CPU in the aftermath of the destruction of the Terminator wears the emblem of the Nazi SS (Schutzstaffel), the secret police of Nazi Germany from 1925-1945.
