Didja Notice?
On page 1, the punks appear to be outside of Griffith
Observatory when a Terminator arrives from the future.
Griffith Observatory is the same location the T-800 that
was hunting Sarah Connor arrived in 1984 in The
Terminator.
The punks on page 1 have a case of Beer 45 with them. This
is a play on the real world
Colt
45 brand of malt liquor.
The rifle Ben takes from the guard at the mountain facility on
page 9 appears to be an M16.
| On page 12, Ben, Sarah, and Kyle discover a
room in the mountain facility where the military is
attempting to piece together the remains of the T-800 that
was crushed in the press at the factory from the end of The
Terminator. This is similar to the discovery of the
same T-800's parts in an LAPD portable evidence locker in
Timeline TT-3 in
"Tempest" Part 3. |

The dialog between Kyle and Sarah on page 14, panel 4 and
page 15, panel 1 is similar to that between Sarah and John
in Judgment Day,
about how it was stupid to risk the life of a person who
will be important in the future (Sarah/John) to save the
life of someone whose use is past (Kyle/Sarah).
On page 20, we see that the only bits of the
T-800 that survived the explosion set by Ben are the arm and
CPU chip, the same seen later in
Judgment Day.
On pages 20-23, Ben, Sarah, and Kyle enjoy a meal at a
desert diner. But is it really likely the workers at the
diner would fail to notice that Kyle is dressed in a prison
orange jumpsuit and not say or do anything about it?!
On page 22, when Sarah asks who started the Resistance, Kyle
tells her she did.
